High Holiday Information

The High Holy Days are about coming home, with open hearts and minds, to our best selves.  We invite you to make your home with us this year on the High Holy Days at our temporary home, the JCC of Greater Columbus, 1125 College Ave.

For a list of our High Holiday Schedule, please click here.

Guest Passes

Temple Israel is pleased to offer High Holy Day guest passes as a courtesy to anyone who would like to spend the High Holidays with us.  Kindly make reservations no later than Wednesday, September 5 for Rosh Hashanah services and no later than Friday, September 14 for Yom Kippur.

You can request guest passes by clicking here.

Reciprocal Seating

If you will be out of town for the holidays and would like us to arrange for courtesy seating at another reform congregation, we are happy to help!  Please call the Temple office during normal business hours.

High Holy Day Babysitting

Temple Israel is pleased to offer child care for children 18 months through 8 years during High Holy Day services.  The cost is $15 per child per session.

Click here to make a reservation.

High Holiday Greeters/Ushers Needed

It's that time of year! Once again, we ask for your physical presence and your friendliest smiles to welcome our membership for the New Year at Temple Israel!

First, please select one of the two Orientation/Training Sessions.  We are trying a new prayer space this year which will hopefully give us a bit more elbow room and our tushes a reprieve so there is a lot of new information to share.
We believe it would be helpful for everyone to have the same information before you arrive for your shift.  Then move on to select the volunteer position(s) you'd like to fill.
If you have any questions,
contact Ruth Silverman.
